Cassowary Coast Employment (CCE) is one of a network of specialist

work experience placements
- job search support including resume completion, job application,
interview skills training and help looking for suitable jobs
- support when placed in employment including on the job training
and support for co-workers and employers, and resolving problems
at work
on-going support in a job when and as needed
- vocational training and other types of assistance
- provide access to employer incentives such as wage subsidies
and workplace modification.

As a disability employment network, CCE works with jobseekers whose
disability is permanent or likely to be permanent and where it largely
affects the individual’s capacity to communicate, learn or move around.
To receive help from CCE, a jobseeker must need assistance for more
than six months after being placed in a job or need ongoing support
to keep a job. CCE can also help people with a disability in ‘job
in jeopardy’ situations. Employees who are likely to lose their job
as a result of their disability may be able to receive immediate
help or support from CCE to keep their job.
